Grades are entered and computed with our new county-wide program called X-2. This program automatically calculates students' marking term grades using the scores and grades that are entered thoughout the term.

Grades 3, 4 & 5 earn letter grades (A-E) that are calculated in the following way:
50% Skill and Knowledge Assessments
50% Participation and Attitude

Grades 1 & 2 earn an O, S, NI, or U that is calculated in the following way:
50% Participation and Attitude
50% Skill and Knowledge Assessments

At the end of the term, students' report card grades are based on their numeric average using the following scale:
97-100% = Outstanding O
70-96% = Satisfactory S
60-69% = Needs Improvement NI
Below 59% = Unsatisfactory U

Students in Pre-K and Kindergarten do not receive Music grades
